Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 September 2026

1. Who we are

GlossaGo Hub ("we", "us") is operated by Denis Pilin, an individual based in Cyprus, as data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].

2. What data we collect

This site is a directory page listing GlossaGo's tools. It has no accounts, no forms, and does not ask you for any personal information. We collect only:

  • Preferences: your interface language, stored in a cookie.
  • Technical logs: our server records request method, path, response status, and timing for operating and troubleshooting the service. These logs are not used to build a profile of you.

3. Why we process your data

Storing your language preference and keeping technical logs are both necessary to run the site and are based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating and securing the service. Neither activity requires an account or identifies you personally.

4. Cookies

We use one cookie, strictly necessary to operate the site (no cookie banner needed, and it's not used for advertising or cross-site tracking):

  • lang — remembers your chosen interface language. Expires after 1 year.

5. Third-party services

This page loads fonts and a CSS framework (Google Fonts, Tailwind CSS) from third-party content delivery networks. Loading these resources causes your browser to contact those providers directly, which may process your IP address under their own privacy policies. Links on this page to GlossaGo's other tools (such as Flashcards) lead to sites with their own, separate privacy policies.

6. Where your data is stored

This site runs on infrastructure located in the EU. We don't transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area, aside from the third-party resources described in section 5, which are loaded directly by your browser rather than sent by us.

7. How long we keep your data

The language cookie lives on your device, not on our servers, and expires after 1 year. Technical logs are retained only as long as needed for troubleshooting and security, then deleted.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, erase, or restrict the processing of any personal data we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Given how little we collect here, this mainly applies to technical logs; email us to exercise any of these rights.

9. Children's privacy

This site does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. If you believe otherwise, contact us and we'll investigate and remove it.

10. Supervisory authority

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can lodge a complaint with Cyprus's data protection authority:

Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection
15 Kypranoros Street, 1061 Nicosia, P.O. Box 23378, 1682 Nicosia, Cyprus

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
